The more effective an advertising campaign, the more the customers it draws, and with greater frequency. Advertising is really expensive, but what you’ve spent to it will get back to you if your advertisement is effective to persuade your potential customers or clients.

Here, searching into how much other sites pay for advertising will tell you a lot about your competition and the market for your product. Merchants and affiliates that pay to advertise are serious about their business, so they are the perfect competitors from whom to learn. In affiliate marketing, it is important or necessary to advertise your business for them (customers) to know that you did exist in that field.

You can go research at and for they deliver the most traffic.  However,you will usually find that the bids at those services in and are lower which is a reflection of their lower traffic volumes. Though these are lower volume PPC’s, you can still use them to promote your site.

  2. You have mention about the Overture and invited your readers to visit that particular site. Did you know that overture site is not existing today? Overture today is already owned and by Yahoo! It is announced they have signed a definitive agreement under which Yahoo! will acquire Overture. F.Y.I only.
